"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!" -Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

I Love my Husband!!!

My husband is the best ever! Our anniversary is tomorrow (May 5) and he surprised me with an amazing present! Last night we stayed at the hotel where we stayed on our wedding night and it was perfect! We got to go out to one of our favorite restaurants too and eat a delicious dinner! He also surprised me with a coupon to have a "photo shoot" with each other done by our very talented small group leaders, Daniel and Candice (courtesy of The Beautiful Mess...thebeautifulmess.com). I am very excited about this and I can't wait!!! I do have a little surprise for Adam tomorrow and I think he'll like it. Anyway, here's to an amazing anniversary weekend!!!

Fruit -n- Crunchy Wrap

A very yummy and healthy snack! (and easy to make!)

1 TBsp. softened cream cheese
1 tsp. honey
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 Flatout harvest wheat wrap (near the bakery at Lowe's foods)--not by the bread
1 TBsp. granola (cereal isle)
3 strawberries, hulled and sliced thin
1/2 banana sliced thin

Mix together cream cheese, honey, and cinnamon. Spread cream cheese over entire wrap. On bottom 1/3 of rounded end layer strawberries/banana and granola. Roll up tightly and cut in half or in pinwheels. This makes one wrap...but to make for a large group, just repeat recipe. Enjoy!!

Quality Time

Being married is such an amazing thing. Our marriage has definatly taught me a lot! For example, quality time is a very important thing to have with your spouse. I've learned that quality time is my love language, but not Adam's. Love language or not, no quality time in a marriage is doomed for failure. This past week has been a crazy week for Adam and I. I have family in town that I want to spend all my time with because they are from the other side of the United States and I only see them maybe once a year. Needless to say, Adam and I haven't spent a lot of time being together (without the tv). It has put a toll on our relationship this week and I have learned that I need to learn how to manage my time better with him and with my family. We had good together time this afternoon just talking and hanging out with each other and it was great! So, all you engaged/married/couple folk out there....remember your quality time with your future significant other!!

No Internet

So, I just wrote a post literally about 2 minutes ago, and hince the title Adam and I have decided not to get internet and I am on someone else's service and it keeps cutting out. My post I just wrote just got deleted and I'm very frustrated. If you want to know what I wrote, you'll have to call me and ask. Sorry for the frustration, but I think it's time to break down and get internet.
